What We Do
Should your child ever go missing, the first three hours are the most critical in locating them. InstantAmber is a web-based service that provides law enforcement with the instant access to information and photos critical to the recovery of missing children.
According to John Walsh, founder of National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), acting within the first 20 minutes following a disappearance is absolutely critical as “the chances of safely recovering a child are much greater within the first few hours immediately following a child abduction.”
InstantAmber provides law enforcement with critical data and photos in seconds, not minutes or hours, increasing the odds of successfully recovering your missing child. InstantAmber gives you the peace of mind that you have taken every precaution and will be as prepared as possible in the event the unthinkable happens.
InstantAmber allows you to upload and securely store data and photos that are crucial to law enforcement's recovery efforts in the event that your child goes missing. You can update the information and photos at any time at no additional cost.

Who we are
In 2007 after his youngest child went missing on a family vacation, Matt Berman conceived the idea of utilizing the internet and its ability to safely and securely transmit data globally to combat the tragedy of missing children. Matt’s deep concern about the epidemic of missing children lead him to create InstantAmber to ensure that parents have access to the best possible tool in the event of a missing child emergency. Originally from Boston, Matt, his wife Robin and their two children now call Nashville home.
