How to Get Free Parenting and Children's Books

March 20, 2009

If your average day is anything like my day, there is little time to sit back and read a book. Between family and work responsibilities time just disappears.

What if you could read a book, a little bit a day, for free?

DailyLit has tons of books for free that can arrive in your email inbox or RSS feed reader. You set the amount of reading you want and the frequency of it's delivery.

We created DailyLit because we spent hours each day on email but could not find the time to read a book. Now the books come to us by email. Problem solved.

I, like many people today, do most of my reading online now. Blogs, news sites, articles, and twitter provide me with infinite reading material in tiny digestible amounts. I have become so accustomed to reading this way that picking up a book seems like less of a pleasure and more of a chore.

There is good news for parents. DailyLit has several books on parenting for free as well as free children's books. If you are a parent on a tight budget, and who isn't these days, then free is a magical word.

They also provide an online forum. Think of it as an online book club where you and other DailyLit users can recommend and discuss books. It's always good to hear other perspectives, interpretations, and opinions of literature.
